The name K.I. Pearl comes from the initials of Kichiya
Ishii the owner and pearl expert of this website. His experience in
pearl industry started as pearl expert of a giant pearl export company
based in Kyobashi, Tokyo, Japan. The company mainly do exports of Akoya
pearls, pearl treatment and processing, and pearl culturing in
Australia.
After 16 years of working he goes independent and established K.I.
Pearl in Ginza, Tokyo, Japan as wholesaler for local market specializes
in South Sea Pearl and South Sea Pearl Jewelry. He then started his own
pearl farm in Australia, Thailand and Philippines.
As the success continue Mr. Kichiya Ishii found out that Philippines
was the best result of pearls market, he then decided to transfer K.I.
Pearl in the Philippines and open a store in Shangri-la Mactan Island
Hotel Resort a Five (5) Star Hotel in Cebu City, Philippines. After a
year of good business he opened a second store branch in the heart of
shopping zone Ayala Center Cebu located in Cebu Business Park, Cebu
City, Philippines one of the country largest shopping mall. |

K.I. Pearl is managed by Mr. Kichiya Ishii, a Japanese
pearl expert for more than 50 years of professional pearl expertise
engage in pearl farming, pearl production, pearl export, pearl
appraisal, pearl design and pearl information. Mr. Ishii describes its
pearl design as "simple and special" with the vast collection of rare
and exquisite designs of pearl jewelry considering K.I. Pearl is only

semi-precious stones and mother of pearl shells mounted with 14/20 gold
setting same with 14K gold 1/20 to an alloy. It does not deteriorate
